Idle dip, be gone!

Drove the car around the city and on the freeway today.
Running smooth and controlled. No idle dip, what a difference. The petrol gauge was no running down as quick as before but only time will tell.
I also several weeks ago, while I had idle dip I advanced the timing to 12 degrees from 9 degrees. This made the engine a little more responsive in the low end which I had lost when putting a cold air intake on.

i drove around to my missus's work, i still experience a slight idle dip of about 100rpms, only on dead stops but. but it feels like it wants to start now, and drive! and my fuel gauge hasnt budged
. you guys reckon that the ecu has adapted to the old 02 sensor? it dips just a little and runs really rich still.

thats weird
it's because the wires are stainless steel. not impossible, you just need different solder and a very hot iron. but crimping is easier and works better in this application anyway.

lol, i didnt realise all generics were the same... but it would seem that they are!
