That's ridiculous... kids these days...

Just for the sake of a public service announcement for the Sydneyites out there... which Westfield did this happen in?

No one I know, just happened last night (Wednesday night).

Terence, it was at Parra Westfields. I'm quite sure.. from there I only parked it at home overnight and I don't think it would've been done there.

you have to be very careful with parking your car in parra westfields..

last year they had over 200 cars stolen.. and it was rated car park of the year.................... for having your car stolen. :?

Very nice ride.

I like the colour and the plans you have for it!!

Be good to see every little stage of it progressing along.

Cheers

Print out the pix of the damage and put in an incident report with the Police. Just in case they catch someone doing the same...

Have you asked security at Westfields for their surveillance? They might have footage of those arseholes...

Where I parked it wasn't in front of a camera, quite stupid of me really.
Either way, I find Westfield's security to be unbelievably unhelpful to anything. I work there, so I deal with them on many occasions.

Thanks for the comments about the car.. the wheels have sold now though, so just back to stockies for now.

*puts on Maxwell Smart thinking cap*

how long was your car parked at westfields for? your car may not have been under a camera at the time, but you might be able to get a hold of the cctv footage of all the entrances and exits of the car park or shopping centre exits at/or near where your 5 was parked..

you're right when security guards at shopping centres are useless. there are many that are simply walking apes that have more brawn than brain.

It's this whole attitude of \"not my problem\" people take on nowadays... it's a damn shame...
Similarly that's why I'm scared to go to Parra ever since I got my MX5... what with our floppy roofs...

On to the good news... have you secured some new boots?
They better be good if you're upgrading from RPF1s!!

Changed front pads to Hawk HP+. Loving how the car stops right now.
Also changed diff and gearbox oil to Redline Shockproof. Thanks to the guys at Caffeine's dodgy day who helped (basically did the work :P).

Exchanged the rears that I didn't end up using and got myself a new Cusco front strut brace.

Sorry for the camera phone quality pics.
