really liking the sound of the SMB.
I'm in the market for an exhaust set up as well.. but can't really afford SMB/SP motorsport setup.
I'm slow to say it, but good thread :P

First clip I recorded just after installing my APEXi Power Intake (no other mods)

Second clip is with Loch Stewart extractors (from a forum member; thanks!) and a Trust/GReddy cat-back exhaust (on the slow boat from Japan). You can hear the throttle opening and closing right at the beginning of the second clip, it's very noticeable since I got the intake kit :)

Both clips were recorded with the roof down, on my PDA, both from the same location (suction windscreen mount).

I used Resco Audio Recorder, without the sound levels adjusted in any way - you can hear the new exhaust is louder, but I don't find it "too loud" at all, it's just right.

I am very happy with it, and would recommend to anyone. It actually sounds like a sports car now :D

I even gained a handful of "Killer Waspz"(TM) in the process

I had a before & after dyno run done by the workshop that fitted the exhaust, results here
