Yeah I'd take 17\" rims if it was just for show
but the pain of having 17\" rims is prices for tyres are so much more
Also its hard to find cheap rims in 17\" they're mainly in or around the grand mark
These are pretty cheap $750 in 15\" tho but it comes with rubber

If its a daily driver then light wheels are the way to go. When I swap between my really light 14's and my heavier (but still quite light for their size) 15's I notice a massive difference in the amount of revs and clutch slip required to takeoff from a standing start (ie what you do dozens of times a day in your daily driver).
I'm yet to feel much of a difference when going around a corner, but the lighter wheels are much nicer for stop/start traffic and would be a lot easier on the clutch I think
