For all you blokes with stebel air horns...
Get a man's horn!
I got cut off for the last time last week. It then promted me to rummage around under the house in search of this baby (truck horn). It was a no-drill, no-cut, leaving the car completely standard installation. The air tank is good for 135psi. Let me tell you you don't want to be in front of the car when it goes off because your bowels will rupture
1mm clearance from the fan surround. Like a Glove!
The tank (fingers crossed no one runs into the back of me)
And to fill the tank
And the on/off switch - simply pull the metal thingo upwards to unleash hell.

That has to be fun I definetly would prefere to ruin my boot to run that horn rather than have a sub woofer. Nice job!

Mr Morlock wrote:I read that air horns are tuned to emit a certain sound. So a tug boat does not sound like a car and a truck does not either. Imagine coming up to the lights and hearing the Princess of Tasmania behind you- now that would be impressive
showin' ya age there big boy.........the Princess was retired...........oooooh...........mid '70's i reckon.........then came the Empress..........followed in '84ish by the Abel Tasman....then the succession of Spirits
but yeah, i remember as a kid, the Princess had a pretty good horn
Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often
