What was the price? And where did you get them?

That's a good price. May get some for the PoGo in a couple of weeks. Where did you get them for that price? Or is it a trade secret
Yes mates rates but wouldn't stop you mentioning you can get them for that at your local bloke!

well this is an interesting observation indeed. my c-drives are very round on the shoulders... and the turn in is abysmal! i guess they have seen too much track action... and i've just forgotten what they were like when new.
turn in on my car has gotten really bad lately... i thought it was the wheel alignment but maybe it's just been the tyres all along. anyway i got some new tyres today, and i'm also booked in for an alignment on monday, to get some more toe out at the front. hopefully this isn't overkill......

Are they the 16in CDrives? The 14 and 15in ones don't have the reinforced sidewall and don't look as square...

aaah, that makes sense then..... mine are the 14's. as i said the shoulders are worn down a fair bit. i fitted some dz03g's on friday and since then my turn in has improved a lot. so i'm re-thinking whether i need more toe out now at all. i think i will just leave it as is, and see how i go.

marcusus wrote:For those running these in 195/50/15, what cold tyre pressure are you running? I'm fiddling with them at the moment, but wouldn't mind some short cut answers
I'm running 36 psi in the 16's, 2 psi more than the CDrives, but the tyre doesn't feel as firm, so more pressure seems nicer

That's what I've got them at in mine at the moment as well. Doesn't seem any worse than 34 which is what I was running in my old Kuhmo's.
While I'm at it, does anyone know why the treads appear to be asymmetric for the left/right sides? I would've thought that the left/right tyre patterns would be mirrored?

Had the opportunity to test the cornering on these things last night, finally no traffic on the 270 degree constant radius uphill corner on the way home.
Entered it about 20km/hr faster than I ever had on the CDrives, and not a peep or hint of movement from the tyres, plety of grip left too, even managed to adjust the line mid corner to avoid a nasty pothole without a problem

I'm currently running 38 psi front and 36psi rear. I found that 34 was too soft and you could feel the tyres moving around. For some reason this feels better to me than 38/36 all round (a touch less understeer) I figure that due to the front tyres turning and therefore having different forces applied onto them its better to run them at a higher pressure. What are peoples thoughts on running different pressure front and rear?
I'm running 205/45/16 Bridgeston Turanza's on my NA6, so I dont know how relevant this is to anyone, I'm also in need of a wheel alignment as i'm currently on 'standard' settings.
