race brake club spec disks - anyone used them

just wondering if anyone has used these disks?

I am thinking of getting a set of these for track days (front only - rear seems to be fine with rda slotteds and ultimates as pads) and some carbotech xp10 pads

Unless you are going slotted or bigger rotors, buy OEM ones. They are the best quality you can buy. If you want slotted, buy DBA 4000 series. Slotted is better for the track as it allows the gases to escape from between the pad and rotor surface. Freight from the USA on rotors will make them less impressive price wise. Pads are another matter.

dba4000 don't come in nb8a size unfortunatly.

For some reason everyone seems to believe that they don't where ever you ask. I have absolutely no idea why. I see you've found them though. DBA 4538SL/4538SR, I believe.

Unfortunately I checked with them some time ago and they said their entire stock was in the US - that was a while ago though.

got a good price for 350 for both of them and those pads for about 200 delivered. I have had a good look on the big forum and the xp10 seem to be a pretty popular choice with some even using them on the road to get to the track. from what I have read they seem to have 20% higher friction coefficient then the ds2500 but those work from cold these opperate from 250 to 1650 degrees F. 550 for a track disk and pad setup is not bad and they should last quite a few years if I only use them for sprints.
