ROTA RB Wheels
Hey guys,
anyone know where these are sold in australia at all? I know there was a guy in Perth a while ago but not sure if he is still around?
These are what the wheels look like though.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Mike

When I was looking for wheels I talked to a Bob Jane, they said they could get them in, but price would be fairly prohibitive... I didn't even ask though because I just assumed it would be too much...
Not too sure if there are distributors in Australia
I've found eBay to be helpful? If it's not too big a size you want shipping won't kill you... the favourable exchange rate may work in your favour... I've found this mob to be pretty good, sent an enquiry Email one day, got a reply the next
Click through for eBay link to LSD Motorsports

yeah i have seen LSD Motorsports on ebay. they look like they have all of them. my main concern is the fitment. I'd like to get a set of 15x8's with possibly +30 or +25 offset and not sure how well they'd fit? if i can find someone local i can at least see how well they fit first.
if i cant find someone local though, i guess ebay is the next option. Although shipping is US$230.

width and offset isnt really the issue from the supplier as they can make them to suit if you need to. Just not sure what will fit on the car itself.
I have brought in a couple of sets for friends from 18 Racing;about $730 a set landed for 15x7,make sure you get the nuts as well as the wheels have quite a narrow lug hole and their nuts accomodate this.
They are quite light at about 6.3 kg from memeory.
I reckon 15x8 at 35 would look good and be a sensible compromise, the RB's have a flat outer rim that makes them look like they have more offset than they have.

The only difference between the RB's and 8 Spoke Superlites in 15's is that the RB's have a slightly smaller inner face where the stud holes are.
I'm pretty sure you can order direct from Rota though, a friend and I are looking at getting some Slipstreams
edit..... Actualy, stuff the Slipstreams, I found something cooler

Has anyone weighed a Superlight lately?
When I ran them on my Lancer years ago they were NOT light at all.Not sure if that is still the case and cannot find any weights on their website.

They are both very heavy.
I enquired only last week about Superlites:
14x6 18p 6.7 kg
14x6 26p 7.05 kg
Considering the standard Mazda 14x5.5 "daisy" wheels are 5.7 kg, the Superlites are heavy.
The Rota RB 15x7 weighs 6.5 kg
In comparison, the Mazda NB 15x6 wheels are 6.1 kg
