Short circuit?

Postby frigidity » Sat Jun 14, 2008 11:22 pm

Hey all,

I have a little problem here :p

My copilot accidentally stuck the cig lighter flashlight into the cig lighter slot the wrong end in, and now the cig lighter and the radio don't work anymore. I'm thinking it might be a fuse or something, but I'm not sure where they are.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks~

check your manual for the location of the fusebox :)

I'm confused as to how that would cause a short? Or how it even managed to fit in the wrong way round?

i've got a little flash light in the cigarette lighter slot, instead of the original cigarette lighter

it's the one on this page
http://www.ledlenser.com.au/ledlenser_home_office.htm
the ZL7575 thingy
it's of an even thickness through, so it can go in either way

my copilot stuck it in the wrong way, and all of a sudden the radio died.

... and it's the same spot on the NA as well:

This didn't scan too well. But that round thing is the speaker, and the rectangular thing on an angle is the accelerator.

In other words, sit in the drivers seat and kick up and right with your right foot :D

The fuse you're looking for is....

.... Fuse \"O\". Also confirms that this runs your cigarette lighter and radio.

Fuse \"O\" is...

... second down from the top left.

You have to be a contortionist to get to it. I used to lie down to get in there.
