And I was upset when I returned from shopping to find a set of trolleys 'resting' on my 5.

You shouldn't feel at fault Chey and I'm sure you're better from the experience.

As soon as he touched my car I would have run him over. I would probably then proceed to drive off and leave the bastard there.

bruce you might want to think that one through. If you did such a thing you would probably get charged and it could have far reaching consequences. The best thing to do in most circumstances is to beat a hasty retreat and stay away from crazed people. Just this last weekend in a road rage situation a middle aged guy was stabbed by a 20 yr old who subsequently was charged. The movies have happy endings but real life can be very different. fix Cheyne's car can be fixed.

I know (hope) you guys are joking about the whole running people over with the car thing... but in light of what happened in Sydney just a few weeks back... I don't think it's entirely appropriate to joke about it...
call me a wet blanket but that's just how I was raised...

Don't fight fire with fire... you only end up with ashes...

On a more encouraging note, it's rare to see someone with Cheynes honesty nowadays... don't beat yourself up over it, yes you may have cut him off (everyone has these moments!) but the abuse was certainly not deserved!
