Thank you one and all for organising another great day.
I think I had more fun in this one than even my very first one.
Got another chance to find out the hard way how stable these little cars are.
Got some serious sideways action down turn one at 130km+, thought I would roll it, but it came to a very gentle stop .... 70metres down the road
See you all at the next one!

Re:
A wonderful and eventful day (for me anyway )... Many thanks to all the organizers and helpers...
Hey Sam, if it makes you feel better, you weren't the only one .

This happened on my third flying lap on the first Clubman session so I was out for most of the day. But thanks to Derek and Michelle, I was able to duck home to Minh's place to pick up a spare radiator and some tools and had it installed by 3:30pm. Managed to get in a few timed runs on the Sprint Circuit until...

I wish I was able to say that the car can do a burnout for that long ... Not exactly sure what the caused the initial leak of oil around the cylinder head cover but the car still appears to drive OK without any loss of power. TBH, I didn't even realize that it was my car smokin' around the track until the following lap. Sorry to all those in the same group as it happened. Must have felt like driving through a bushfire...
I must personally thank Minh (Mr Starlet), Andrew (1red5), Derek (ASE05) and Michelle (TheMisses) for without them, the only ride I would of had would be on the back of a toe-truck...

GREAT DAY - Thanks to John and all the organizers.
Car copped a thrashing but came through with no problems.
Just a serious lack of fuel at the end of the day!, and two worn out drivers.
Big thanks to Doug from Lisa and I for the tuition, made a HUGE difference.

Holly Cow! Just checked my fuel economy for the day.
Fueled up in morning - drove from Mt Gravatt to QR - Tracked (2 Drivers so double laps) and drove home - 245kms total - 40ltrs fuel - thats 16.3 ltrs/100 average for the day.
She must have been sucking it down on the track because the drive there and back would have been at 8.3 ltrs/100.
Cant wait for next track day - WooHoo!
(ps. I know economy doesnt matter for track days! Interesting though)
