The way I see it, they want $200 for 2 pieces of flat plate with a couple of bends and expensive triangles (instead of cheap round holes) cut into it. Add to that, transport from America, and it doesn’t become hard for me to make significant financial savings, if I make it myself.

Well then Steve, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for you to go out and get a few measurements from under the car. :D

Thanks.

Steve.

Maybe it's just me but I'd prefer another group buy than rip off a good product.

Well if that is the general Consensuses, then that is what I'm going to have to do. Then I can truly call it my own.

Though I would jump in now that mine has been installed 8)
works great, most noticeable difference is how solid the car feels hard to describe it really
and there is no more squeaking from the hardtop on the rollbar now either, every time I see some bumps i'm still cringing and waiting for the normal squeals but it remains silent :D

Grr... after being rear ended recently, the cat is now rattling against the brace (I think). I've been way too busy this week to get it to somewhere to have a look at it. I just hope it won't have any ill effect for the up coming track day on Sunday.
