NB sway bar size?

Postby SKYHI » Tue May 27, 2008 5:17 pm

Can someone confirm for me the size of the standard front sway bar on an NB?

Would it fit an NA?

Paul.

I think they are 22mm hollow.
Won't fit directly on an NA as the end\\holes are angled approx 40degrees, so you need different end-links.

I have some in the garage I can measure tonight if someone here doesn't know.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

IIRC it was 22mm front and 12mm rear on the NB8B standard. They are not hollow. Atleast from the weight and sound they weren't.

RSB: 11.3mm

I have the NB8A sways fitted to my NA6. With the NA6 sway links.

the angle of the sway bar is a little different. so my link ends were bent to mak it fit.

probaly not good practice but haven't had any issues.
