NA East Bear Body Kit

Postby Hammer » Sun May 25, 2008 11:52 pm

!
I think I finally found a body kit for the NA that I like. Though I'm not fully sold on it yet (in particular the rear), its starting to grow on me.

That's damn sexy. A very modern look.
Of course it will also be damn pricey......
AND the cardigan brigade will hate it :P :P

I have to disagree I'm sorry to say, but I find it hideous. (And I don't wear cardigans). These crazy kits just make the car look so cheap and ricy.
It looks like some sort of robot jaw on the front. And they didn't even give it a twin exhaust, just plugged the hole.

I've done a fair bit of searching body kits for this car in the past. And I have to say, Mazda did a pretty damn good job. The only part of the car I don't like is that the front nose is higher than the sides of the car. The R front lip fills that gap perfectly. The only other half decent kits IMO are the garage vary lip but it hangs too low and the racing beat noses but the type one for some stupid reason only goes lower on the edges and it too high in the middle, and the type two is nice but ruins the curves of the car not matching the rest.
But hey, if it floats your boat, get it, you could do worse, like get another car.

I like it 'cept 3 things: the rear wing, the front bumper indicator/lights, and the chin sticks out a few cms too far.

I like the rear; hate the front. Racing Beat Type II nose is the best option for NA... 8)

I like it except for the wing. That would grow on me I reckon. Where can you order them from?

You would have to see it in the flesh, some angles look better than others. The poncy followme/reversing light would need to be a dual exhaust, IMHO.

Front lip spoilers are just that. SPOILERS. They look terrible IMO.

But opinions are like arseholes; everyone has one but no one wants to hear anyone else's!

Well, I'm old and grey, and I also wear cardigans (occasionally), and I think it's not a bad looking kit.

While modern, it isn't as hideous as as most of the kits I've seen, but has a nice, sharp look to it.
