Nice for bling tho.

Are these the same racers who have machined holes in the bumper, running aftermarket radiator and IC, coolant re-route mod and oil coolers? If so, it sounds alot like a generic heating issue for over boosted tracked applications.

No, it was when they were first racing, true there were generic heat issues, but IIRC, they moved back to stock ICs, then to name brands, to me the move back to stock suggests stock was better for thir appication. That said Mania sell something quite similar, so they must thing it's a worthwhile upgrade.

I took a look at the link offered by Pashn8.These sellers offer virtually no back up at all. Warranty virtually non existent unless you can see a fault and return straightaway then forget it. Stated specs may or may not be right- how do you check- and manufacturers names pulled from a hat. We generally enjoy high standards for customer service on goods bought retail in Aus. If you supply to a car co in Aus or o/seas not only do you replace and credit the item but the bigger co's pay penalties as well. If you cooked an engine due to a dud component it might not look a bargain- the non functional items may not matter so much.

also, someone mentioned that some of the track cars had encountered problems with the cooling pro units blocking airflow to the radiator thus causing overheating. juffa bought my small cooling pro to replace his huge intercooler (which was blocking his rad), and this solved the overheating issues that he'd been having previously. so, as per usual, every application is different and whats works for one person may not work for another, and vice versa. summing up,,anyway if it's just for a street car that doesn't get tracked, i'd reckon the little cooling pro would do the job fine.
