Are the engine bays that much smaller than rx7s?

Yeah these vehicles have a narrower track and their chassis rails aren't as far apart as the RX-7's. That's why most of the turboed 13B's in these vehicles require a custom exhaust manifold to move the turbo forward and up...in front of the RH strut tower.

Cheers,
Danny

Can you think of any factory rotary powered car which you can't fit an LS1 into without cutting metal?

Your funny buddy

I just showed you pictures of the engine being 330mm wide, and your saying it takes up room.

have you seen the various manifolds, they take up room do they?

orx you better throw away your Renesis acording to Ben its lost so much power with all those bends in the manifold :)

Show me a running rotary less than 400x400mm which produces more than 200hp and I'll eat my words.

I'm not against rotaries, I thing they are very cool things. I want to try a single rotor 12A turbo for an under 2lt class race motor..
