Good to hear these things are worth it.
Congrats on a successful GB Mactype.

oh you'll have no problems with the frame rails denting once the FM rails are fitted, you'll be able to just slide over most anything I'd say.

Clearance on my car wasn't an issue and I've no rattling so far, appears you can run quite small clearances between the cat and the brace too. This will alter depending on what cat your running and where that sits.

It does tighten things up quite a bit and lessens the creaks and groans in the chassis so all in all quite a good thing I feel.

Well I bottomed out today on some speed humps in a business park, but these things looked a bit perkier than usual ones. All my other speed bumps I go over on my way to/from work didn't cause me any grief.

Did the stuck seat bolt guys end up getting them out?

Just we'll have to sort out when we're finishing off your cars

Hi Darryl. This is Tommy. My car is good to go. I've pre-checked the seat bolts and all of them loosened without any dramas.
Unfortunately, I have a pretty jam packed weekend coming up. I have to work 1/2 of saturday and all of sunday, so will only be available sat arvo from about 3pm and sunday from about 5pm.
Oh, and I'm free tomorrow night if you're keen!

Eric, how did you go with Mania?

I saw Eric on Tuesday at the club tech night at Meguiar's. Seats were still bolted down then. I think he mentioned something about the weekend being busy for him as well, but I'll wait for him to tell the story.

I'm in for Friday. What time?
I'll have to pick my car up from the clutch place after work, so the earliest I can get to back out North west would be around 6:30 ~ 7:00.

I'm free because I have to work Saturday morning, so I can lend a hand. However I can't be there til all hours of the night due to work the next day.

I suppose I'll show up after I've gotten home and had a feed, so I can come round at maybe 7:30-8ish?

Bugger... only just got home from work now. How's everything going out there? Do you still need a hand? Perhaps I'll eat something quickly and duck over anyway just to see if the garage door is open. If not, at the least it'll have been a nice drive :P

Jeez... what time did you guys finish? Really sorry I couldn't hang around and help out more. If it makes you guys feel any better, I was on fire at work today :P
