where to buy M2 runabout mirrors

Postby nath » Wed Apr 30, 2008 1:15 am

In light of metro motorsports no longer existing, was wondering if anyone else knew the best place to purchase M2 Runabout mirrors?

Many thanks!

Hey Nath,

I was making a few enquiries a number of months ago for runabouts and apparently they've been discontinued as of late last year :(

Best place to source them would be Yahoo Japan.

Or you could speak to JDMYard to see if they can locate a good quality second hand set for you from Japan (JFox told me that Zi bought a NA6 and sourced a set of runabouts for it very recently)

yeah - I've found that they're hard to come by.

However, I'm looking at a company called REV9 as they have some in stock - not cheap, however.

Thats crap.. they are still being made, I emailed Rs Products in Japan about getting a set 3 weeks ago. Buying direct is alot cheaper than buying through Rev9..

The M2 Runabouts are made by RS. Products. Pics and Info on their website. (scroll down)

http://rs-products.sakura.ne.jp/seihin/na/exterior.html

Contact them through this email: RS_products@hotmail.com

I spoke with a guy called Mako Hatanaka, who was very helpful. His english is spot on so you wont have any trouble.

He quoted me..

================================================
1.Mk1 NA Runabout M2 mirrors:JPY25,200
2.EMS cost:JPY3,200
================================================
Total:J\\28,400 = $289.789 AUD Delivered!!

They also except Paypal..

No need to thank me.. :mrgreen: :P

Looks like we may be able to save on the freight if we get it combined?

Let's see if we can get a discount happening if we get 2 (or more) sets

I'm definitely keen Nath

I can vouch for the quality of the M2 ones...the pair on my old car have been there since 2003, and still look as good today as they did then.
