When do you guys hit Melbourne? Maybe the Melbourne mob could have a meet and greet or a feed or a cruise with you all, time permitting.

Folk are arriving at different times over the weekend. We are meeting up this weekend so I'll find out when and where and get back to you.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.

As I said we are arriving in Melbourne at different times over the weekend, but all will be at the Ferry Terminal from 5:00pm on Monday. You pick us out, we'll be in the 15 MX5s, mostly ACT Rego with 3 or so NSW cars.

It would be nice to see some of the Victorian folk, but we will understand if you have more important things to do.

:frown: damm! Will still be working but see what I can pull out of the hat. Might be in my work car, Golf. I dare say I should be able to spot you. What time do you load on to the boat?

We are advised to be there to load at 6:30 pm for an 8:00 pm departure.

I'll try and contain the enthusiasm and roll in as a group at 6:20 pm.

8) Will see what can do and see if I can organize some others to come say Hi.
If I miss you, enjoy the trip and I know you'll all have fun on those Tassie roads.
When do you return? What day and time does the boat gets in? Maybe we could see you then.

Tasmania's great roads

Postby Wotsa » Tue May 13, 2008 9:22 pm

Tassie is run and done.
Thanks to Hot Rodders for seeing us off in Melbourne. Then to a Tassie member (name will come to me eventually) who welcomed us in Devenport.
Then the Mole Creek gang who caught up with us to form the greatest assembly of MX5s to be seen in the Apple Isle - 19, and then finally to the 3 Hobart members who called in to see us at our digs last Sunday.
The roads are still there, everyone of them is great in its own right.

He was excited just talking to us while we had lunch, saying you would be envious. But he was next to himself when we drove in to his carpark for him to take pics. Love to see the pics he took when you get them, pm me for my email address. We are currently compiling our photos and will place a selection on the club website.

I've passed on the forum e-ddress so he might drop by. I've also given him a giddy-up regarding the pix.

So would I. Hey, hold on, I live here and part of it is my daily drive.

Awesome roads around the North West. Happy to give a few pointers and join in.
