worth rebuilding this clutch?

Postby Mr Starlet » Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:50 pm

Hi everyone

I've been thinking of upgrading to a lighter flywheel for better response, but after removing the gear box from the spare engine I have sitting around I found what looks like a light weight flywheel and a quite worn race clutch....

Try but couldn't manage to get the fly wheel off using conventional tools, will need air ratchet to take it off to weigh.

The clutch has DK stamped on so I figure it's a Daikin/Exedy, but other than that I have no idea about anything else, it pretty worn so I wonder whether it's worth rebuilding, if so then where and roughly how much?

Cheers
Minh
