sway bar end link bushes

As per title ,l am trying to fit some end link bushes to the sway bars. Can i heat the link ends with a torch an push them out with a vice :?:

Will new urethane bushes press in with a vice followed by the sleeves :?:
I,m part way through this now :evil: :evil:

I pressed mine out with a SuperCheap press, may be able to do it with a vice. Bits of rubber get left in the link so you need to clean them out with a wire brush. I used a vice to press the new bushes in, the metal sleeve was pressed in with the vice as well.
A torch would work just a messy way of doing it.

Hi. I did mine recently with a vice and some imagination,a bastard of a job, as the originals are bonded. My advise would be to get someone with a press to help.

Heat them until they start to smoke a bit and then let them cool for a minute. They'll pop out easily then and not leave much, if any, residue to clean up.

New bushes press in OK with just a vice, then add the centre pins.
