Are they for 16"?, I got quoted for $220.

Yep, 205/45-16, and I get a free pair of handheld radios too :D

What's the promotion? I'm due for a set of these now, so I wouldn't mind seeing what prices they've got for them.

Last quote I got was $124/corner at Jax for 195/50/15's.

There's a pic on their website. choose from one of 3 gifts when you buy one of 3 specific models of tyre...

Ahh right. So it's not like they're doing a special on the tyres themselves. Just giving away freebies with them.

use that quote to k-mart tyre and auto. They do adrenalins for $220 and they say if you can find it cheaper, they will match and beat it by 10%. in addiiton, they do free fitting and alignment.

I wouldn't take anything to Kmart no matter how cheap it was. Haven't we taught you anything Steve?

well, let me put it this way, i could pay $200 per tyre at bridgestone, or get it for $180 per tyre at kmart plus free fitting including alingment. If the alignment isnt what i want, then i could spend $70 at computerline and still be better off.

Sure sounds like a lot of work to save $10ish

I wouldn't let kmart near my car.

Off to have the RE001'a fitted now :)

Couldn't agree more. When I was young and dumb I went to Kmart to get my car serviced and never again will I ever go there for the remainder of my life. I would pay the extra money. Could end up being a whole lot cheaper. Guy I knew got his car repaired by them and a few days later it caught fire

Well the RE001's seem quite grippy. Initially the turn in didn't feel as sharp as the CDrives, but the grip is certainly there.

After a bit of scrubbing in I tried some heavy braking from 100km/hr to zero, and the felt rock solid, suck your eyeballs out sort of grippy :)

Haven't had much of a chance to try the cornering yet, but they feel quite good. They certainly had no trouble maintaining the same cornering speed as the CDrives on the 270 degree turn from victoria rd to silverwater rd.
