I've just installed the NPower rear muffler that you are thinking about and I am very happy with it. It gives the car that slightly sports car sound with out sounding like a hoon machine. In fact I did a thread on NPower as I was very impressed with their service. I know of 3 other form members here in Melbourne who have purchased this muffler and we are all very happy. It literally only takes 10 - 15 minutes to install. I hope this helps.
Cheers!

Sound like what I am looking for - just a bit of nice sound. Will it work with SE Turbo? Who/where is NPOWER? Sorry , found em online.

MINX it looks like you have a SE. I remember that the SE already has a 2.25 inch muffler so i don't know you will get any performance gains. I personally would get a 2.5 inch or larger exhaust to get a performance boost =]

Yes. However it is more like a mild rumble than a race car like rasp, or a N1 like bellow.

I was under the impression the rasp was from the extractors, not the muffler... :?:

IIRC, most of the exhaust note is the result of the muffler, but it makes sense that the extractor is a contributor too, but i'm not too sure if it is the major contributor.
