Yes. :D Unless you ask someone who doesn't think so...

Opinions are like bums; everyone has one, but no one wants to hear anyone else's.

Tyre choice is greater and cheaper in 15" than in larger rims.

I bought from Tempe's reseller in Brisbane: Superior Tyres in Aspley.

matty, there is a big topic called \"show us your wheels\"

http://www.mx5cartalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=20924

it has page after page of pictures of different wheel combos. why don't you have a look and decide for yourself what you like best.

as boags mentioned 15's have a good selection of tyres to choose from, and decent prices.

also it is generally acknowledged that smaller rims suit the mx5 better as far as handling goes. too large a rim may have an adverse effect on handling, as they are often heavier (also the weight is further out from the centre of the wheel) and add to the unsprung weight. that topic can be a bit of a COW (can of worms) as each tyre / wheel combo is different, but in general it is a good rule of thumb.

but having said that, i have dríven fastfreddy's car with 17's and it still handles really well. but on my car i went from 16s down to 15s, then down to 14s, and i found the handling improved each time i went down in size.

Thanks guys, I have heard this message before on a mini forum. The little wheels handle the best and the big ones look the best.

I love those Konigs though. 8)

Mate, I'd be interested in your Volks. Want to PM me if you are genuinely wanting to sell?
