hope you have a towel or something under that nosecone :?

are the beanbags for when you get tired & emotional?? :P :lol: :mrgreen:

is the pushy there ready for a quick trip to Repco??? :lol: :lol: :lol:

is the mop there to clean up the blood & tears??? :lol:

nope. my paint is so bad i don't care anymore if it gets further damage. it's getting a full respray this year, after all the major mechanical issues are sorted.

well, they were undercover up on the deck, but with the wind yesterday everything just got blown everywhere ! it was just crazy weather yesterday, i was scared to go outside.

haha, i actually did visit repco this arvo for some parts... i took the 323 parked out the front tho, not the pushy.

nah i'm over it now. i was grumpy earlier tho... but the hard work is done so all thats left is putting it all back together. not too difficult, i've done it a few times now :D

Oil cooler is going in while your at it i presume?

it's coz of the turbo. if i didn't have the intercooler, the nose could have stayed on and all the aircon stuff would have just slipped out the bottom.

also, when i installed the intercooler i had to take the nose off coz the aircon stuff was in the way. so the lesson is: turbo + aircon = maintenence nightmare.

having the aircon out will make future maintenence a LOT easier. for example , fiddling with the turbo / dump pipe / manifold should be easier in future as well, without those pesky aircon pipes in the way.

it did give me a good opportunity to have a look at possible mounting points etc for the oil cooler. but no, it is not going on just yet. i had a bit of a muck around and now i'm thinking that i might mount the oil cooler BEHIND the radiator, using the currently unused 2nd (aircon) fan mounting points.
