I like the 8\" because I can hear the music better when the top is down.

If I had a hard top on the car all the time I would go for more quality definition and get 6\" splits.

Adaptor? like speaker rings? Like cut them out of MDF?

Ok I got myself some Focal speakers :D

chatchat, where did you put the xovers i think thats what there called (the box)

and i got adaptors :D

i got mine made up at Autobarn Slacks Creek for $55 took less than half an hour
Northfield Moorooka makes them as well but the workshop was closed they charge somewhere around the 60

pretty much any store with a workshop who does all this custom stuff should be able to make them

I probably could of made it myself using a jigsaw but i didn't want to go down that track as it'd probably take a few hours

I took the jigsaw way.....cheaper...hehe

which Focal speakers u have? I am thinking on this brand as well, I like 165K2P, but might be a bit too expensive for me, thinking 165 VR, the cheaper version.

Good to see you got some speakers AZNtein...

I hear focal is good stuff are you happy with them?

Some people can cut the rings with an angel so it can be directed towards the driver slightly (now that I would pay for).

AZNTieN, the xover located near bottom on the plastic panel side, should have some space there.
