And you can get 15x7 949 rims from Iron Canyon Racing only,
but don't hold your breath waiting for them to answer your email.
Beautiful rims, nice and light and different, but I couldn't be bothered after waiting 3 weeks and numerous emails.

Just a comment re tyre / wheel weights. Just as rims vary considerably in weight so do some tyres. A few years back when I was in the industry we did a comparo of 4 brands of tyres for a standard family sedan size and there was a 1kg variation per tyre.
Make something idiot-proof, and somebody will make a better idiot.

Don't be weak ...

Before anyone asks, my answers are:

1) Too much - but hey, not everyone will do this ...

2) 6 months wait

3) 14x8.5 front, 15x9 rear **secret offset** (not Pete's but more aggressive)

4) Kudos to Glenn Kowta at Upgrade Motoring for making this possible.

Unfortunately I won't know when I'll get around to fitting these - I'll be directing my future $$$ for tyres + coilovers towards my 2nd project car (micra) in order to get it running as it's been sitting around for 2 years gathering dust.

In the meantime, just a few pics to tease you - you can guess but I will probably sleep with these beneath my pillow until they are fitted eventually:

I'll be busy with guard rolling etc but the final result shouldn't be too far off from the original inspiration:
