The W.A. cars were dropped off at the transport company this morning.

Apparently there's a derailment in Meredin but they should still arrive in Adelaide in time.

Fingers crossed.

7 more sleeps boys and girls and we're there. Woo hoo.

It's been a long road but one, I'm sure will be worth it.

56 MX5's have entered the Winton track day. There are only 4 groups so there will be copius amounts of track time, assuming everybody keeps it on the black stuff.

Gates open at 7am on the Sunday morning.Scrut not long after. Briefing, familiarization, practice and then it's on. As always, practice laps will not count to scores so use them as practice.

Everybody competing except Cooky (technologyless) should have recieved emails from me confirming your position.

It's all so exciting. May the best State win!!!!!!

Looks like our car transport company has been trying to get our cars on the first trains back on the line.

Rather than picking them up on Wednesday looks like they might arrive Thursday morning. Guess there'll be a 2nd convoy to Swan'ill from Adelaide.

Arrrghh!!

Just found out they have water restrictions down that way. Is anyone going to bring along a high pressure washer? Apparently the HP washer is OK or a bucket. I'm a mobile car detailer and I'd prefer to get the bulk of the crap off my paint with the HP washer rather than a bucket and sponge. I didn't spend most of Saturday poilishing ASE05 to fook it up with a bucket wash. Call me anal but......

If not, is there any chance a yocal could bring one with 'em for the concours?
Sing that song, puff all night long.......

After being dropped off on Wednesday and being delayed by a derailment .. the WA cars are on they way! They left at 7.15 this morning and we are on track to pick them up at about 10.00am Thursday.

National Rail expects no delays with travel time.

Keep us in your prayers.

I was sitting in Perth Airport Wednesday pm and Dave called me to say that the WA cars had been shunted off the line and were now expected in Adelaide on Friday. Friday being a public Holiday the depot will not be open. They now expect to arrive in Beechworth on Saturday afternoon/evening!

national rail went broke and dematerialised overnight in victoria, they prefer to stay in the UK and make all services late with the possible exception of the ones that they cancel

The collective prayers and blessings of the Vic club are with you - you're gonna need em :frown: :frown:

Good news, seems someone at National Rail must love us.

Cars are getting collected tomorrow morning some time, guess we'll get into Beechworth LATE Friday night so save me some steak!

At least we'll get to attend concours, but we won't have a chance to clean the cars.

Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!
