BNE/GC - Mechanic Recommendation Reqd

Postby CapitalF » Mon Mar 17, 2008 10:46 pm

Hi all

Although I've purchased the timing/air con/alt belts/kit Ive now read up on what's required and besides not having the appropriate tools and ancillary bits, I don't have the experience / confidence.

In light of the fact the car is now at 112K and I'll be driving it to Rocky the weekend after Easter (for a Motorkhana) Im looking for recommendations for a Gold Coast/Bris mechanic to do this for me... within a week.

Experience of the NA's and awareness of the short nose issue would be welcomed. Yes - I realise its the week before Easter and school holidays shortly after that but you could see my original plans. :-(

Thanks in anticipation - Peter.

Hmmm... are you adverse to getting a home-mechanic to do it?
You have PM :)

Thanks all that PMd - its booked in for Tuesday.

The final choice was more about accessibility for me and with northside offers being too far away.

Thx again.
