Thats where the battery is and fuel fill lines are not. Plus my amp is behind drivers seat.

My cabling is running to the passenger side. No detrimental effects there. Don't know why I did it that way rather than behind the driver's seat.

Yup on the NB there's a metal plate where the fuel hoses go into the tank. It's easier to do down the drivers side.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I had mine down the pax side. On my NA there was a plastic tube under the door sill that can be split open to run cables through (just remove the sill trim and lift the carpet).

That gets it past the door opening cleanly, then there's a gap to push it through the LH tunnel and down to the boot. The amp was mounted vertically in the LHS of the boot. (Probably not easy to do this in an NB). The speaker wires were bundled and taped to the RCAs and the amp control line (blue wire) and fed through as one big snake.

i tried both sides on my na. when it was on the driver side, i hear clipping. on the passenager side, the clipping is gone. it's enough the afford to redo it.

by the way, good rca won't fix the interference problem for u. unless u r running digital or optical sign.

it definately looks amazing!

unfortunately i blew the main 40A fuse after about 10min of driving and cant really figure out why...
everything is connected correctly...

couple questions:
1. is it ok to have the earth for the capacitor and amp on the same screw(battery earth)

2. the amp is sitting on the spare tyre bolt that i used to secure the base for the amp...is it ok for the amp to be grounded like this?

grrrr...looks like the sub blew also...whats a good 10\"sub to buy?

the rockford's 10\" range coil is too large for the sub box by the looks of it...
