Where to get Caliper rebuild kits

Anyone know where to get them?
I'm still waiting on Mazda Rockdale to call me back with a price on them.

I'm particularly after the Piston seals and pivot pin boots.

MX5parts UK sells them. I got a new genuine caliper piston from them a few years ago for my NA. Mazda Aus didn't even sell the part. They wanted me to buy a whole new caliper assembly.

With the current exchange rates, it will be cheaper through the States no?

My suggestion is don't have Mazda do the work, I had one rear calliper seized, all in all to get the brakes fixed, new pads, machining, rebuilding callipers, I ended up with a $1,000 bill. Was not happy.
Start OT rant...
And they called (after a week) to say it is finally done, but now we can't get it started. You need a new battery. Told them it was an OEM one bought from them 3 weeks earlier, they sent it out to an auto electrician to have them look at it, 6 hours later they say it is the battery. It is dead. This was at 2pm. They needed a receipt from me so they could replace it under warranty. 2 minutes later I found it, called them back to say I had it. An hour later, went in. This is now 3pm. Amount of time needed to pull the old battery out and put new one in? They called me at 2pm the next day when it was finally ready - and it was still another 20 minutes to get it as it was sitting to be washed - which did not even get done as I was late for work.
Oh, and to also point out - although I needed to get the brakes done, I had gone in because the car wouldn't start. A week after they had the car they still had not investigated the reason I dropped it off.

At this stage it looks like delivry included will work out a little cheaper from miatamania than mx5partsuk for the service kits and pads.

I got my repair kit for my NA from a local shop in Melbourne(seals only). Can't remember the exact figure but somewhere around $30 for 2 sets. Still have 1 in the toolbox. They supplied Green Stuff pads as well.

Ask your local brake shop first Nuno. Seal kits should be readily available from Better Brakes etc, and are not normally expensive. Never asked about MX-5 kits before, but it only costs a phone call. I have just fitted Greenstuff all round and am very pleased so far - significant improvement in feel and stopping power.

I have a local (Botany) that supplies me my clutch and brake bits for the other cars that have come past my life....

I'll call him tomorrow, it has just been a bit busy of late.

My guess is they would be very similar to the Astina calipers as the pads looki identical.
