Has anyone got a speed bleeder that they can bring along on the day? I want to do my brakes, and might as well do it efficiently :)

Hey Mekros. A speedbleeder is generally a replacement nipple that is kept on the car. These are designed with a ball bearing I think that doesn't allow air in, only fluid out. Unless you are talking about a bleeding system involving a cup in which case I find that someone holding the tube in some clean fluid just as good. Should be plenty of us there to lend a hand pumping the pedal

Mekros speed bleeders cant be shared. Dont trust me with the break fluid and bring a few rags and a funnel.

I have 2 ramps and 6 stands.

I just need ramps when I tighten all my suspension bolts so I think your covered steve.

Who else is doing what so we know what stuff to bring...

the way things are going, i'll probably be with fastfreddy hovering around the bbq and drinking beer, more than working on my car. i'll have a few little things to fix , but not much. most of the work will be done by then (before natmeet) .

ok no speed bleeders for me then  So I'll just have to trust someone to help me bleed the brakes with me. 8)

Full fluid change for me, so that means clutch, brakes, diff, gearbox (anything else I missed)?

Cheers guys.

oil was done, prior to me buying it, I trust the guy and the oil does have a nice honey colour to it.

Coolant I might try and do this long weekend, otherwise yes I have to get some too.

Cheers for helping my bad memory

OK guys, this event is fast approaching. In fact it is this coming week end. If any one else is attending, could they put their name down ASAP as I need final numbers to do the catering for the BBQ. Also if any one needs the address, could they PM me.
After much thought, I will be charging a measly $5 a head to cover the cost of food and drink.
Only 5 more sleeps! :D
