The plastic window is like anything Wun, it needs to be looked after and maintained. If you wash it correctly, and polish every now and then it will last you years.

Thanks Green Comet.
had a brief look at http://stores.ebay.com/daveshouze
What did you mean by quieter? Does it vibrate/flap around?

Agree. When i bought my car years back the plastic window was really bad. Some Mothers plastic polish and it was crystal clear. As long as it doesn't get to the brittle stage it will last for years. Unfortunately my vinyl didn't last as long.

No it dosent vibrate/flap around, I mean the mohair is thicker soo it blocks out more noise from outside the car, and makes the cabin quieter. Just like when you fit a Hardtop to your MX5 the cabin becomes alot more quieter, then it would be with the soft top up.

Having said that I found the cabin alot quieter with the stayfast top, compared to the vinyl.

make sure you email them for a shipping quote first. If your ordering a glass window top the shipping might be quite high, due to the weight.

cheers

Done. The shipping is US$130 Still works out pretty cheap due to the strong dollar.
