You have the worst case final costings Marcus, some stuff we can't lock down until it gets here - still waiting on FM to get back on payment terms. I might give them a call tomorrow morning if nothing is emailed to me.

I suggest we pay for FM's bill for the shipping and braces and then worry about the GST and the like when they get here. That will give those stretching for cash a few weeks to get some more $$ together.

Righto. So we're saying $600 for a brace eh? Add in installation from mania and that puts it at $780 (I think... it was $180 from mania for install right?). That's still better than mania in the end, and it may well be cheaper.

Alright, I'm in. Who else is down? What're the next steps?

Just got off the phone to FM.

Appears they would prefer one payment for the goods and if we pay by c/c they also require a bank statement for verification. They suggest paypal might be easier for us. I'm a verified paypal user so thats not a problem but unfortunately will have to collect the cash from everyone.

I've emailed their shipping manager direct for a quote on shipping the 6 braces to Sydney and one brace to Melbourne.

They tell me they have them in stock, I also asked about the 2nd's that they have presently and was informed that we would not be able to get any further discount than the current sale price on these.

I'm happy to do a direct debit for you for my brace. Just a question of everyone else.

I've added your order Steve but won't be accepting any further orders.

Been having dramas getting the updated shipping quote from FM, called them a few days ago and was told to email the shipping guy direct, did that and followed up again yesterday and got an out of office for the next few days reply - very frustrating!

Was wondering on the status of this. Always good to hear that something is being done, even if it's nothing ;)

Thanks for doing this for all of us mate :)
Be sure to keep us updated.

update - called again and now I've the direct line to the shipping guy.

Seems he's not answering emails atm because his assistant is on a weeks vacation, and the other person who helps is off sick  but he has informed me that he is going to start answering his emails tomorrow and we should hear something either tomorrow or maybe Monday.

Well that's good news. It's worse if you hear nothing. Let's just hope he gets into gear and lets us know what the deal is.
