Techno Grille

Guys,

Does the SE take the same grille as the normal NB8B, or is different?

Hi Craig,

They are different. The only way to tell the difference is that the SE model has 3 rivets where the frame is jointed at the top of the grille.

I haven't got any in stock and unfortunately I cant make them any more ...

Craig,

Simon the W.A. President has one on his S.E. you could e-mail him via President@MX5Club.com.au for more info.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Rob,

What do you mean you can't make them anymore  , these things are the best darn grille on the market! 8) :!: 8)

Can the NB8B one be made to fit at all? I'd love to swap it out of the Titanium to the new SE.

Hi Rob,

I had one of the early grills - if you remember you actually came to my wife's Auntie's house to deliver it when we were in town for the 2003 F1GP. I thought that was an incredibly generous gesture on your part.

I had to remove mine as the original rubber had worn to the metal clips and was abrading the paint inside the nose cone (got the bumper resprayed nd fixed the stone chips at the same time). I haven't refitted it as I want to see if there is an alternative rubber available.

Did you continue to use the same stuff on all the grilles or did you change to something else? Love the grille and really want to refit it (its been off the car for over a year now)- just need to replace the rubber first.

Cheers,
Troy.

I'm a happy owner of a Techno Grill (of of the first sold to an NB8B).

It'll be a sad thing if they're no longer made.
