Does anyone know what size the thread base is on a na6. I know its either 5 or 6mm. I need to know as the Honda s2000 aerials are 5mm and I cant tell which size the base on the mx5 is.
Thanks guys!
Ben

Yeh, I think I maight have a vernia caliper somewhere in the shed, but like all of those things I have no idea where it is. 4 houses in 3 years....
It would be nice if I could find some resonably priced NC aerials.
Thanks anyway

I've found one post on the big forum that says an s2000 aerial screw right in on a NC. So therefore it must be 5mm.
Can anyone confirm that?

i think a LOT of new cars use the same antenna base these days..............i can tell you that an NC antenna won't screw straight into an NA base, because the thread on the NC one isn't long enough, saboteur & i did a swap over at a dodgy day, the NC antenna looks awesome on an NA, the only thing you'd have to do is get an adaptor that screws onto the NC thread & into the NA base, dunno how you'd go with that, but it would be worth a try

Ok, thanks for that AJ, it's good to know. I don't know where you would get an apaptor like that..
I will get the guy with the s2000 aerials to measure the length of the thread and i'll compare it to the stock aerial.
I wish i'ld known how difficult it is to find a rubber aerial, I would have just said no. But if I can find one that works it should look great!
