Thanks Bevan

15.5 lb = 7.03 kg

I found some wheels I like the look of but they weigh 8 kg
which I thought were a bit heavy until i saw they are lighter
than Camel boys (18 lb = 8.16 kg)

PTC brand :?:
Anyone heard of them :?:

Re tyres weights the \"C'' drives come in at 8.1 kgs (17.8 lbs), Adrelalin's at 8.7 kgs (19 lbs) and Falkens 20.8 lbs. I have run Momos - 7.8 kgs (15x7\") for years but definetly noticed the difference with hollow spoked 14\" oem at 27 lbs. My \"new\" Volks are somewhere in between (15x7) but streets ahead in road feel to the Momos mainly because of correct offset and new Adrelalin's. Imo 8kg does give a more solid feel - bit like comparing an MG with a healey. I dont think suspension wear would be an issue at that weight as my bushes still seem okay. Heavier steering on an NA is noticable though.
NB SE, NA 1.8.
