Yea they pissed me off, I didn't want to overtake on the corners but on the straight they were just planting it as soon as I pulled right to overtake  ended up doing a cooldown lap which gave me a nice gap

I think those 2 straight ones are from ajay slipping on the coolant, my marks there are a bit less straight (you'll see in the pics) I had dave coughing up dust for a lap after, while he was trying to work my wipers and turn down the air vents that were aiming all the dust straight for him

I don't think my new tyres like me though, lots of wear on the edges, should have put the pressure up between rounds but I just wasn't thinking, pics to be up soon (sorted it down to 240 of them so I'll make 5 topics in the media section with 50 or so pics in each so load times will be somewhat reduced)
and now I want to get some stiffer sways after seeing the pics, I never knew my car had so much rolling on the corners

pics are up in the multimedia section, only selected a few but I'm sure it's enough
if anyone who was there wants a copy of the full quality (unedited) pics of their car then let me know ur plates/car, I'm sure I'll have at least a few pics I can put on a CD for next time we meet up

can't really put all the pics on CD's unedited as it would take up about 10 CD's and I don't have a DVD burner

Haha those guys were funny, I only seemed to meet them once, they were about a metre away from each other, a few people were over taking them on the back straight, and I wanted to too but it was getting too close to the corner, I didn't know how much luck I'd have on the main straight so I thought stuff this and took a dive down the inside of the last corner and made it stick. There was a couple of times when I had to dive inside and people ran wide on the last corner, made for an exciting drag race to the first corner.

SM, holy mother, do you really need to put up that many pics. Just choose the best 50 or something.

Here's a pic of the Circuit Club track day on sunday, this car was an absolute rocket, gave the ferrari 360 CS a run for its lots of money.

SM, any chance of getting a copy of some of those pics? In particular im after YEW92X (red NA with black number plate) and YBG B0Y (BRG NA). Id love a copy of them. I can fix u up with the cost of cds and postage etc. Also if there are any of a blue/green XY falcon and a red Alpha that would be tops!

I have ones of both the mx5's but none of the falcon or the alpha(unless they are in the background) I'll see how many pics I have of the 5's

Sasso wrote:Awesome shots! So thats what happened. Whats coolant have to do with a broken gearbox? what happened to the poor white car?

He thought he had a broken gearbox, it turned out to be a broken heater hose that dumped all his coolant, the shots are of the coolant coming out of the white car then of Ajay locking up as he goes over it

I completely take that back, awesome shots mate. Any more of Gavin's car (the silver NB that rolls too much)?

Ajay good to see you hitting the apexes, good driving.

That red NA on page 5 looked like he wanted to do a little hill climb.

Sasso wrote:The best part about the new track is when you come around turn 1 (the kink) there are 2 dead straight tyre marks of someone locking up for about 20 meters that starts just when you are meant to turn and continue off the road and on the dirt. Its classic, like something marcus would do. Was that anyone from here? if so, thanks, I use the marks as a guide to my braking point now.

Now my mark has been left on Wakefield forever. Well, at least until they resurface it anyway. I'll have to keep an eye out for them next time and see whether they do help as brake markers. Obviously it didn't work the first time, but second time lucky? :P

Ahh good. Have been keen for one of these to practice controlling the car sliding. With all the rain we've been getting, I've been thinking some controlled practice would be good. Perhaps I should start looking into LSD's...

You've been practicing sliding uncontrollably in the rain?
