Stock = 32.5774 g
AL705 = 23.2394 g

9 grams a nut ( double :lol: ), 4 per wheel, so you've saved yourself 9x4x4 = 144 grams :P
Mind you, every gram counts. Just don't eat any cheeseburgers before going on the track to undo the lighter nuts.

Wun 911 you have been provided with turn signals moulded with clear acrylic as opposed to amber. In all likelihood the lenses are moulded from the same injection moulding die. The appearance to others when your turn indicators are activated is always amber and with the clear lenses this is achieved by an amber bulb sitting behind the lense. The lense optics will dissipate the light so that the light emitted complies with regulations. Most of these type of turn indicators use 12 5w wedge bulbs and these are available in amber and clear.
Insofar as the appearance is concerned this all a matter of taste and fashion. Lighting was once described to me as \"jewellery\". I think that is an apt description. You will probably notice that model updates frequently feature changes to headlamps and tailights and whilst it is still expensive to tool up it does give the vehicle a different look.
Nevertheless bear in mind that OEM lamps are strictly made to comply with all regulations and with good quality plastics. Some of the aftermarket products are rubbish and plastics are inferior. Many Commodore's are getting around with faded aftermarket rear lamps because the plastic has poor UV resistance.

I finally figured out how to wire em up.
I vampire tapped the the wires from the round side indicators.

the pic is crap but it shows em lit up...

Mine came like this from japan but i didnt like it so I got rid of the side one and just use the standard ones.

w00t i got my clear indicators and reflectors today and its on as well

i'm planning on wiring the reflectors as well :D anyone know if its illegal?

and will i risk burning the flashing box? (the thing that makes you indicators flash)
