i have a few things that need doing on the car. the problem will be finding the money to buy the parts needed .
either way i'll come along .
maybe we can finally fit that DFA to fastfreddy's car eh?!?
cool.
Once that is fitted then I can start to worry about fitting the other thing
Still trying to source a cheap(ish) J&S safeguard.

Just went for a great ocean road drive today all the way to apollo bay =]. Man the MX5 handles well! high grip too! i even reached teh limit of adhesion on the thing. The annoying thing is that it bloody understeers at the limit. I was hoping for a slight amount of oversteer. Looks like i'll be buying a rear adjustable sway bar to induce a little more oversteer =].
*edit* whoa hang on a second i think i made a mistake, yes Mar 15th is GP weekend. I have grandstand seats so i'm not missing that =[. Reckon we could move the dodgy day 1 week forward or back?

Melbourne motor show starts Feb 29th and ends march 10th.
Grand Prix is March 13-16
MX5 Nat Meet is on the 23rd of March (And its Easter pplz will be away)
Im guessing make it on 29th of march?
(gives pplz more time to buy thier bits and pieces)
Saturday is probably better than Sunday allows time for testing.
What do you think Rod?

****OK. Saturday March 29th is available as an alternate date.**** Would this suit more people. It means that Nat meet and Easter would be over Can I get an idea before I change the date or are people happy to leave it as it is on the Grand Prix weekend?
Cheers!
Rod.

there are a few things i need to do BEFORE natmeet tho.
eg, fit new clutch, fit new front swaybar, remove airconditioning, a few other little things.
i'm guessing the clutch is probably too big a job for dodgy day at rod's anyway as we'd need some big jacks, hoists or whatever. and airtools would be good i guess.
the other things are doable anytime, ig you want to move the date back i can just do them at home as they're pretty easy jobs (touch wood)
