Clarke Rubber you say though .. hmm. I do love the look of checker plate, but didn't want to fork out the cost for real aluminum cut outs.
Does the stuff from Clarke Rubber come in a roll?
I got mine from Clark Rubber in Castle Hill, they call it "PVC Chequer Plate Flooring" and it's sold by the metre, the staff there had no idea what I was after so I looked around and found some myself
It's sort of like a hard rubber/plastic, I just used a sturdy pair of scissors to cut it to the shape I required, using the factory floormats as a template and mine use the factory anchors to stop them moving around.
