Stripped interior Audio quality??

Postby metris » Wed Jan 23, 2008 1:22 pm

Hi hi,

Can anyone here that has stipped the interior of their car let me know how the audio quality is?
I love my music so i like decent sound, but i want to try and reduce some weight too...
Will it affect the sound badly? Any solutions to this?

Thanks!

im stripped and have boston speakers.

it made a bit of a difference, a bit more treble from the reflections, and a fair bit more road noise.

i might try those door skin reflecting panels one day.

surely (big, heavy) speakers would be the first thing to strip if you're serious about it?

A good sound system will sound terrible in a stripped out interior, and a poor stereo, will just sound, uh.....poor.

Because of all the bare metal, the sound will just bounce around and make the music sound sharp and muddy.
