Hi Peter,

A search reveals the following previous post.

I know that Andrew has one fitted in his NB, and he has photos...but I couldn't find those posts. I'm sure someone will come forward witht he info.

If you want one of the Thompson kits you had better get in quick. According to the website once they sell out current stock they will only be taking orders and making new kits once they have 50 on order.

Except there's no room there on an SP to fit it... BJ has his up on the firewall near the brake mater cylinder from memory for this reason. Our cars have the washer bottle in that spot as you can see here:

You could replace and relocate the washer bottle if you were keen though - one of the bag types they fitted to Alfasuds could work - behind the front bumper maybe with a long tube to fill it?

Can't find the original... I'll take another one in in a minute and post it up. There's bugger all room in an SP engine bay, that's for sure! :D

You'd be ok if you moved the washer bottle and mounted it with one of Techno's washer bottle mounts.

WTF is this thing -

Pretty sure that's the cruise control unit.

Yep, that canister thing is the cruise control reservoir. Mine is down where bigdogs water bottle is, so I would also not be able to mount the oil filter where Andrew's is...

Yep, cruise control. Any pics around of Mr Techno's washer relocation job?

I'll deal with that red hose soon... :P

The SE has the washer bottle mounted next to/over the turbo.

Check out my cardomain entry on the first page. I reckon you'd get away with the same set-up in the SP or just do yourself a favour and get an SE......

EDIT: Looks like the power steering reservoir may be in the way :frown:

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
