fredbareoz wrote:Okay everybody listen up, tonight's Reefton run will be POSTPONED due to weather. I dont want to be leading a field of cars through there in the wet at night
It will happen, but not tonight, apologies for any inconvenience.
I will be at the meeting point and will probably go have a countery somewhere nearby!

Is it April the 1st today???
Nope. Damn. Bugger.
But I guess this is the sensible call to make.
If has rained there today or last night then some of those roads will still be wet/damp tonight.
But *goddamit* the wet is the great power equaliser. Probably the only time when a NA is preferable to a FI car. Maybe :P :P

Good call, Al. I was humming and hahhing about whether to go. It's easy to get a slippery spot up there, especially on leaves. And going through there gingerly isn't much fun (for most).

Any idea of an alternate date?

Cheers,
Alf

Good call Al. MUCH more fun in the dry . . . and safer too, I guess.
Hope the new date works for us.
Travel safe . . .

Hi Al,

It was a shame about the weather, but I agree the right call was made. Sunday night next week sounds good.

I'm away, too, though not with Fatty. I'd prefer the following week, but, hey, it's your call.
