Right...the early NB8B's that had the shuddering clutches replaced are prone to this error as the neutral switches wiring is clipped to the under chassis of the car, and when the clutches are replaced the dealers just cut the ties and never bother to replace them, which in time leads to the wire breaking internally from vibration and fatigue.
Now...what happens is the car thinks you just sitting there stationary and revving the crap out of your car, and not actually in gear, hence it never actually uses the readings from the O2 sensor and it drives like sh*t until it warms up and goes into a default setting.

P.S. I'll type up a novel next time perhaps or maybe you can just trust me!
Thankyou. I shall try that...dont suppose the sequel to your novel would describe how to replace it?

I can also say, its not the spark plug leads (changed), and I dont think its the coils. (Had them checked today....but to be honest, all the guy could tell me was, they are both the same! He was from scrorcher distributors here in Melbourne, recommended above. His test equipment said they are both under voltage, but he made it clear that his equipment was not the right thing to be using. All he could say was, they are both exactly the same!)

Hmmm, sounds exactly like the problem I've been having for the last 6 months. Mine runs rich on startup, exhibits the same symptoms and clears up with a bit of temperature in it. Same stall problem on idle too. I've tried another ECU and coolant temp sensor, with no change.
Any chance this gearbox neutral switch doover is used on the NA6?

I'm told its a shitter of a job as it's on top of the gearbox.
