that unit you put up no longer available so yeah

so if this sticks to your windscreen is there any wires at all?

That model is specifically the G-Tech Pro Competition and has been replaced with the SS and RR models.
I assume TP13SS is looking at budget options and so I put it up there as there are a few on eBay US every now and again, and they have the same functions as the current G-Tech RR.

The only "wire" is the one that goes to your cigarette lighter. It's not the prettiest set-up, but heck, nothing comes close to the functionality and ease-of-use of the G-Tech's.

The knock-sensor functionality of Kula's one is cool.

i have a sneaking suspicion that a suction cup mounted shift light/gtech/satnav would be a cause for concern and refusal at scrutiny if you were thinnking of melting your tyres @ the track...

Scrutineer didn't even take a second look at it and gave it a thumbs up as soon as I asked about it.

200 rpm increments, adjustable via thumbwheel - the last two are nice and shiny - can see em clearly with the top down - the things point straight into your eyes.

Looks good, nice and stealthy set-up. Probably just what Ajay is looking for.
I would like to install something permanent like that, so care to share what, how, where to buy?

sharing is indeed caring :D its a T-SPORT revlite, and the bad news is tsport, an aus company went belly up a few years ago. two years ago i looked long and hard and bought two of them for i think it was $70 each from some ricer website venture in sydney - they were new in box. would wholeheartedly recommend them at twice the price really. Google away - there has to be some left somewhere

sorry to be a tease

okay - found it, the website looks alive and well - albeit under another name in the US of A.

Caveat: I wholeheartedly vouch for the product, its been in for two years and is still going strong. I am unable to vouch for the people selling it - havent dealt with them.

Do you have the one like in one of my photos on the first page, or the really little one with just one shift-light?
Either way:
1) is it connected to the cigarette lighter socket or direct to RPM signal?
2) how accurate is it?
