heres a map depicting C - C is not ever used.

the pits that are most often used for short and long track are B - they have a nice compact feel to them, and are free (well, they are included in the base track hire fees) hiring the pits used at the 6 hour costs $. Im willing to bet that we will all be finding ourselves at B.

The track day is shaping up to be a ripper too on the Sunday. Expecting 45 mx5's shuffled into 4 groups with no other marques which equates to loads of track time. Both short and long tracks will be used. Standard MX5Vic rules applies as it will also be round 7 of the championship.

Good luck all and don't miss out  8)

Are you going to use just those classes for Natmeet competitors? I think it would be worth making a few more (eg splitting up Modified into NA/NB/NC or 1.6/1.8./2.0 classes). Otherwise I could see quite a few people ending up in the one group.

There's no reason that the Natmeet classes have to be the same as the Vic state classes at the same event.

PS If I get a chance I might come up to have a look/help/wave a flag etc.

Yeah that's always been my point Matty, I think it's better to make lots of difference classes and provide more trophies; they're not expensive and it makes more competitors feed included. It also creates more competition as its not just the race cars that win.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Wahooo! Me and ASE05 have just booked our accomodation at Gilgandra and Wagga for the drive down.

We could be up for a convoy trip home too if anyone is keen ... although I'd like to make a detour via Dubbo to check out the Western Plains Zoo. Not sure when we'll next be down in that direction and I'm a touristy geek at heart

We're coming back via the Snowy (Tumut) and Mt Panorama (Bathurst). Haven't made any accomodation plans for the return leg - might just wing it.

I'm not necessarily thinking of more classes, 6 is already a few given the size of Natmeet. I'm just thinking that the brackets themselves may need tweaking to suit the cars that are attending - it would be best IMHO to have a roughly equal number of cars in each class - if at all possible, maybe it's not.

I'm heading home via a healthy stop in Melbourne for much shenanigans and some hooning, then back via the Great Ocean Rd to Souf Australyah. :D
