yeah checked the dimmer but makes no diff. all the other lights seem fine. headlights work, just the dash lights stopped working. are they part of another circuit?

It looks like power comes to the light cluster through the \"tail\" fuse. If the heater controls and ash tray lights work, then you may have a dislodged or broken wire to the light cluster.

Please let us all know what you find.

thanks. i put a cd player in and i think i've earthed it to the wrong part so it keeps blowing that fuse. i'll have a look tonight.

All fixed. theres a red/black wire that goes to the standard tape deck which i thought was a negative which i had hooked the cd player earth up to. removed it and earthed somewhere else and works all good now. Thanks for that wiring diagram!

Sorry to grave dig here guys.....

I've put a new h/u in recently too and lost my dash/ac lights...

What did u end up doing with the red/black wire that goes to the stock tape deck?

What head unit did you fit?

The Red/Black wire should be the dimmer wire on the NB8A which you don't really need to hook up but if you don't hook it up to your headunit (if it has that wire to hook up) then when you turn on your lights the head unit won't dim

I'm not sure why you've lost your dash/ac light thought unless it shorted out on something and blew a fuse

The h/u I used is an alpine 117E, couple of years old now but still nice.

The wiring diag that I was working off had 2 wires as the interior lights, the red/black and a grey/red wire. i'll have to check the fuses today.
still have tail lights tho, so not too sure which fuse to check... looks like theyt are all on the list.

Fixed :) red/blk goes to h/u. while the grey/blk wire need to be earthed
