If your just looking for a temp fix until u get the new rain rail then quality cloth tape or gaffa tape is the way to go. Mine was leaking about a year ago. Took it all apart and it had some large cracks in it. Patched it up with thick gaffa tape and havent had a problem since! Also make sure that u clean the rail really well, making sure the tape has a good surface to stick to.

Yes, whatever will stick. Silicone over the rivets may help too.

Well ... at least now you have a valid argument to get your car a permanent garage spot.

2 questions:

1) what was wrong with your latches, ie. why is Richee's better?
2) did Richee take you for a spin in his luverly new car? :P

You know how you're ment to press that button before you can open the latches well I'm assuming some lazy person before me pulled it without pressing that unlock button and now those latches just come undone as soon as you pull it

Which makes Richees Latches better :D

No he didn't but thats ok maybe next time

Richee is yours a soft or a hard top?

mm I wonder if the person a few streets away from my place is on here

Drives a Maroon (Copper Red) NC lives in Jetty Walk, Forest Lake
