As Techno mentioned I was running a large IC for sometime. It came with the 2nd hand DIY turbo kit I bought. It is 600x300 in size. I had to adjust some of the air cond components to get it to fit. It blocked the air cond condensor and my PWR radiator. At air temps of 30-35c or less I did not have any real issues, however once summer really kicked in I found that I had to turn the air cond off otherwise the coolant temp climbed from the 88-92c norm to over 110c. I also found the intake air temp climbed as well, but I can't remember the numbers. It should also be noted that I had to remove and leave off the under engine tray to fit the IC, as well as the black plastic bracing that sits in the mouth, behind the front bumper. It is a known fact (see the big forum) that removal of the under engine tray can adversley impact the coolant temp, especially if it was already border line with a dodgy radiator or other air flow issues.
Early this year I bought a smaller IC off Fatty. It is around 600x180 in size. I was able to re-fit the under engine tray and the black plastic bracing that sits in the mouth. The air cond condensor and radiator are no longer blocked and so far (fingers crossed) the coolant temp has not risen above 92c. This was with ambient air temp of around 35c. The air intake temp is bit higher with the smaller IC, but still well within acceptable levels, so far around 5c above ambient air temps.
It is forcast to be 42c in Melb today so I plan on taking Tweety for a drive and see how she fares.
Hope this helps.

a delta fin style core might help with flow to the radiator.
Mate getting the piping to route nicely with a 600 wide core will be a challenge, a few have don it, but it's a lot of work for little to no benefit.
A frontmount from a U13 bluebird is perfect, can handle the heat to run 300hp at the wheels too.
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.
